Biology for work
If you wish to be involved with any of the health care professions or embrace medical research you will need to consider biology.
Medicine, dentistry, nursing, microbiology, pharmacology, the veterinary professions, non medical fields such as food technology and even beauty and sports therapists all need to have a knowledge of biology.
Biology for life
Even in a non professional setting a good working knowledge of biology will help you maintain your health and wellbeing, from balancing nutrition to recognising when something is wrong. Being able to find and interpret reliable, accurate information can be a huge benefit.
